<p>Some cool things are happening despite this seasonal situation.</p>
<p>1.&nbsp;<a href="http://missy-magazine.de/magazin/missy-0311/">Missy Magazine</a>&nbsp;did a huge story on women cartoonists, and it looks gorgeous. If you speak German, you are in lots of luck. ***OOPS! Edited to add: I am one of the cartoonists!&nbsp;</p>

<p>4. Rob Clough listed <em>Make Me a Woman</em> as number 6 out of his <a href="http://highlowcomics.blogspot.com/2011/08/better-late-than-never-top-50-books-of.html">Top 50 Books of 2010</a>. This makes me feel very good but I don't want to go on about it as it may be unseemly.</p>
<p>5. How pretty and adorable does <a href="http://smorean.com/">Sarah Morean</a> look reading <em>Spaniel Rage</em>? In Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on <a href="http://readcomicsinpublic.com/">Read Comics in Public Day</a>! Ain't no shame!&nbsp;</p>
